As I mentioned before, I specialize in criminal and civil law. In so doing, I do legal research, type briefs, motions, petitions, and locate attorneys for potential clients. And the reason for that, I am not a lawyer and therefore am prohibited from representing clients in court. 

We also write letters on behalf of individuals who are having trouble with their landlord, the police, and those who are being discriminated against in the workplace. 

We also provide other social work by partnering with our sister organization "Oklahoma People Against people Abuse, Inc."

    Hello, welcome to Oklahoma Paralegals Against People Abuse. My name is Michael C. Washington. I have been doing legal research and typing legal briefs for over 25 years. I specialize in criminal law and civil law. I became a Certified Paralegal in 1987, completing my credentialing exams, which qualifies me as competent paralegal. I received my legal training from Blackstone School of Law in Dallas, Texas. 

    I've filed criminal and civil pleadings in the District Court of Oklahoma County, the District Court of Muskogee County, Muskogee, Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoima, the United States Supreme Court, and the District Court of Caddo County, Hominy, Oklahoma.

​    Aside from filing pleadings for myself in these courts, I've been instrumental in filing civil and criminal litigation in these courts for prisoners confined in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The outcome in many of those cases were not favorable; however, in others the outcome was very favorable.

We are currently taking steps to create a newsletter that will be published to help citizens get a better understand of the law and the steps one can take in seeking legal redress for tortious behavior of others. We seek to acquaint people with the law so that they'll know how to protect their rights.

The newsletter will also provide the names of private and government organizations, asscoiations and groups which provide assistance to indviduals and families in need.

Oklahoma Paralegals 94611 will be networking with our sister organization OklahomaPeople Against People Abuse, to provide legal redress to every individual who has and who continues to be discriminated against in housing, education, jobs, and programs.We also address issues of police harrassment, produce liability, etc.

The assistance we provide in these areas will come out in our Oklahoma People Against People Abuse, newsletter publication.
