Civil Law
This the area of law which deals with tort liability. The case is first brought to court by the plaintiff, after contacting a lawyer, whose duty is to explain step by step to his/her client all the options available to the client prior to seeking litigation in a court of law.
The person defending the lawsuit is known as the defendant.
In some cases, plaintiffs may opt to try their own cases in court, but it's always best to use a trained professional lawyer.

The lawyers we refer them to are upstanding, professionals, curious, and knowledgeable in the area of law they practice in. Typing
As I mentioned on our home page, I do legal typing for individuals in criminal and civil matters. I don't care of you need a legal brief typed, a motion or petition typed, even a Post Conviction Relief Application typed, I have the skill to get the job done and professionally.
I even type letters to senators, landlords, congresspersons, school teachers, civil servants, and the like. Our idea is to network with individuals and families in our community.
Legal Research

Oklahoma Paralegals94611 provides legal research in areas of civil law, which include divorce, tort, criminal law, Wills and Trust, etc.
We do legal research related to criminal and civil appeals, filing post conviction relief, habeas corpus, adoption, child custody to assault and battery.
We also do legal research regarding civil litigation involving prisoner rights issues.
Criminal Law

This area of law is much diffrent from civil law. Criminal law deals with the indivdual accused of breaking a law in some instance. For example, the individual may be accused of committing a robbery. There are criminal statutes which define the kinds of punishment that can be meted out for that crime.The person committing the crime is known as the defendant.
In criminal situations where the indivdual is brought to court, he/she has a constitutional right to a trial by jury. Meaning they have a right under the 7th Amendment the United States Constitution to have a jury decide his/her fate.
The individual has an absolute right to a fair and impartial trial on the law and facts of the case.
